Previous meetings - Uppsala, Sweden, 1998
The first international meeting on "Ecology, Physiology and Cultivation of Edible Mycorrhizal Mushrooms" was held at SLU (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences), Uppsala, Sweden, July 3-4, 1998.
The meeting gathered 81 participants from 30 countries.
Proceedings will only be published on the web. By clicking on the name of a participant, abstracts will be available.
The meeting was a pre-conference session presented in conjunction with the 2nd International Conference on Mycorrhiza
(ICOM2), 5-10 July 1998.
The schedule was organized by
Abdulmagid Alsheikh from Kuwait, Carlos Colinas from Spain, Eric Danell from Sweden, David Pilz from USA and Keith Williams from Canada.
Previous meetings - Berkeley, USA, 1996
At a workshop called "Ecology, physiology and fruit body formation of edible ectomycorrhizal fungi" which was a part of ICOM1 (1st International Conference on Mycorrhiza) in Berkeley, August 1996, Boletus, Cantharellus, Lactarius, Tricholoma and Tuber were treated during one afternoon. It was also decided to have a longer meeting in Uppsala in 1998. We also decided to make a directory of people interested in these genera.
